At The Tender Tendril Farm we specialize in growing food the way it was meant to be grown. All natural. Our seed is sourced from companies that provide organic natural seed of the best quality.
We then grow the best seed in a seed starting soil with an OMRI listing. Nothing is added but water and attention. This assures you of the finest quality of microgreens available with the highest nutritional value. At the peak of growth the microgreens are cut, triple washed, packaged and chilled. This process gives our customers high quality, fresh greens with a longer shelf life and no preservatives.
About Our Farm
We at the Farm have grown vegetables on traditional farms all our lives. Our parents were farmers as were theirs. Growing food is in our blood. Now we have found a new produce. You see we grow micro greens. Its the sprouted seed with the cotyledon (embryonic leaf) and the first true leaves. This stage of the plant's life has more nutritional value than at any other time. Micro greens contain considerably higher levels of vitamins and carotenoids—about five times greater—than their mature plant counterparts. They also are high in protein and enzymes. Everything needed to start an new life.
